I think that the initial question is needing an addition. In my honest opinion ist should read something like
"Wy keep P5 after upgrading IF THERE STILL IS DAZSTUDIO"!?
Really, if you are looking for a proggie that does everything that P5 does, but only faster, better looking, easier to handle >> get the FREE DAZStudio and you can wait in a relaxed manner for the last bugfix of Poser6.
Chances are that you decide to work without Poser6, but anyway: DAZStudio and Vue (RIGHT, just use the "objBryce" format) are like meant for each other - until the compatibility of Poser6 & Vue is there.
