Subject: Poser 6 cannot handle textures with same name

Yes, I read that... and then laughed. As if the content being loaded is completely created or managed by the user at all times. I have gigabytes of content, a very insignificant portion that I created. It would take months to make all of the texture names unique (between texture image file renaming and updating the Poser library files). Again, that's why file systems were developed. And, believe or not, software runs on the OS which manages the file system, to which all file system facilities are available. Nevermind. Maybe the programmer/very long term computer user in me is frustrated by this oddness. ;)

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
