Normally, you'd buy eye "textures", which are .jpg files with Poser .pz2 format "MAT pose" files to apply them. You can create those using Mat Pose Edit, which is a free program. Do a web search to find it. Poser users can't use DAZ|Studio format files. Using the "export" command only exports the object mesh, and you can't resell a copyrighted mesh from another artist. D|S doesn't export the mesh info in a way that Poser will read to apply your textures, anyway. Textures that you test in D|S should work fine in Poser, although there's a real difference in the Surface properties between the two. If you get into creating objects, there can be some real problems in Poser that you won't detect in D|S. (Been there, done that! :) ) If you're going to sell a product, I'd strongly suggest lining up some Poser users to beta test it for you. Poser (unlike D|S) is really picky about file structure, e.g. you can't put a pose file in a character folder, so you have to use the correct folder hierarchy in order to save your Poser customers a lot of frustration when installing your products.

Hi. I was thinking of making a few things such as skin texture sets and eyes(etc.), and since I don't have Poser, which seems to be the main program people use for those things, would it be possible to do that with DAZ? Also, when soembody sells something here, what format is the file in...such as if I were to make a set of eyes to sell here....what file(s) would the buyer get after they downloaded the product? I've noticed that in DAZ, you can only save files as .daz, but I've also noticed an "Export" button, and I was wondering if you could save the files as .obj....well, as I'm sure you can tell just from reading my post, I'm a complete newbie to this, but I've already got some really nice things lined up to market.
