I had such a different experience with CL and DR on this preorder thing. I ordered the first day they took orders, and the system was not working. Both Digital River and CL have sent those of us like me numerous emails over the waiting time, but the notable one was when they apologised right off for the ordering snags and gave everyone who had ordered that day a small discount. It wasn't that much, I thought, but did send the message that they are trying. It's just my opinion and observation, but it seemed like the whole thing of DR collecting money for a product before it is available is mostly new to them and they were not set up for it. That probably next time they'd do better. Next time I'd ask myself if I'm ready to be a beta tester, but I'm pretty sure I'd tell myself yes. I'm a glutton for the punishment of trying out software. LOL
