I trace selected the wall on the right, then subtracted out the shelf,poncho,grass,etc. Filled that selection with black, dropped the opacity almost to nothing, softly erased in the 45degree corner so there isn't a hard shadow edge. Then I clicked the eye in the layer on and off a few times to see the difference. Try it out.
