So, the honor system straight, with a no-key-field database chaser. The cost of even attempting to run the customer support paradigm you describe (with no key field for a product registration) would be astronomical. It would lead to the immediate conclusion, 'this game is not worth it,' and you would just throw up your hands and say, 'let's just put it on the pure honor system' where you would post, for instance, an upgrade behind a payment page keyed around a customer number but no product registration number, and ask people to download it after paying instead of the hundreds of places it would appear for free. Would that work? COuld a company stay in business? ::::: Opera ::::
