Subject: OT: selling my car for college

I actually have a few friends at school that are very interested in it, but they have to talk to their parents first (some things never change eh?). I also thought about going in with my buddies at 5000 each to buy it from my dad, but I don't even have 500, let alone 5000 dollars to do that. I'd love to find a way to keep it but what it comes down to is that my dad needs money for taxes and tutuion (this is on top of student loans), and we had planned on this happening for a while. Planning, though, is very different from actually seeing it happen.

On the upside, it was a GREAT project and could easily be done again! And not only again, but with the experience now under the belt it can be done even better and faster and most likely cheaper. We know what works and what doesn't. I am thinking convertible for the next project...with an embedded mac mini to serve music :-D Or maybe I'll stick to the ipod.

P.S. This car's official song is "Baba O'Riley" by The Who, as it was the first song we played on its first drive.
