Here is the last update for the weekend of my dress in progress. This version has small and large breast morphs to match Jessie, as well as a sit bone, which works OK for sitting, but very well to alter the length of the dress.

Drop the files in the Simple Dress archive into any figure folder. You should find the cr2, obj, png and pmd files, as well as a texture template and a simple floral pattern.

Compared to the earlier version, the leg bends are better, but could probably still improve. The UV mapping is now finished.

To come are more morphs - probably to match at least the high and low morphs for the breast, as well as a pleated dress and maybe some other dress shapes.

Feedback and suggestions would be appreciated. The only caveat is that the base model will only be changed if someone finds a huge flaw - the UV mapping took too long to risk mucking it up now. Otherwise, any joint and morph suggestions, extra ghost bones etc would be appreciated.

Thank you, I like the length of the sleeves, nicely trendy, and the skirt. The shoulder UV looks better too. You're a champ to do this. Emily

Thank you. I'm probably going add a few more morphs (try and match the default breast morphs), maybe a couple more skirt style morphs - the flaired idea works, but the smoothing kills the pleats. Maybe also a couple of sleeve styles, then wrap it all up and stick it in the free stuff. So, if anyone finds a fault, let me know over the next week or so, and I'll try and fix it. Then its texture time, and move onto another project.

since it has morphs, this is a conforming figure, correct? ::::: Opera :::::

Yes - this version is conforming. I'll probably stick a dynamic version in the final package - I still have the unsplit, corrected UVed version, and I know it works as dynamic cloth. I've found Jessie to be the easiest character to get cloths to conform to.

cool, good WIP Morph for open buttons down the front/back? ::::: Opera :::::

Partially opened tops like the Ulitize stuff? Sadly, that need to be designed into the original mesh. On the Ulitize tops, the mesh isn't a closed cylinder - at the front the mesh doesn't join up, more like a roll of paper, so to get the open morphs all you have to do is pull the two seperate areas away from each other. It's a nice idea, and I can see how to do it in Wings (my modeller of choice), using the hole material to break the solid object, but sadly it's too late for this dress - Wings doesn't seem to cooperate with the UV mapping on imported obj files. That might become the project after next (kimono style dress in very early development, then perhaps a proper opening blouse.)

Thank you all. Now on to the serious stuff - any suggestions for a name?
