I got a Lexar card with the "Image Rescue" software included. (the software is on the card and is downloaded from that before the card is formatted for the camera.) I have not used "rescue" but a friend has and says it works really well. Alas, that is after the fact in your situation. Just a note for those who might be interested. Maybe some of the other card makers also supply this software, I don't know. One thought, likely not needed: My cameras want the camers turned "off" before the card is removed. If I accidentally removed the card while the camera was on..what would happen? The manual says the card would be affected. I use 512 cards, max. Why? I don't want to depend on one card being "perfect" all the time, since cards can mess up! I would rather have more cards than one huge one(storage wise). Anyway, good luck on retrieving more images. I do like your stuff. Tom.
