bea, You need sperate obj files for each figure if they cannot normally use the same cr2. Just move the shoes to match the other figure and save them. I don't quite understand you about the heels. Any part can change. You can have changing soles, changing straps, and changing heels on the same cr2. I have made these but use them privately to assemble props, clothing and enviornments. I call them "PoserMachines". I used to have a posable, changing "poserMachine" that I used to use to assemble hair products. You can do the same for your shoes but be warned, complex changing figures can generate alot of confusion and hostility. Include lots of info in the readme and don't be offended if someone thinks it's broken because they didn't read the readme. hehe You might just want to include several pairs and swap out entire shoes. caulbox, years ago I and JeffH(completely seperate from each other) were trying to figure out the syntax for changingGeom. My syntax was faulty. JeffH crack it and made his finding public. My mistake was that I was missing the ref number after the obj tag. I think Vicki's Changing Fantasy suit was the first commecial product that changed and also showed people you could swap out a whole outfit. The Ponytail was the first hair figure that used it, etc. For that reason I became forever associated with the technique, but JeffH cracked it. I just put it to uses people hadn't considered at the time. I think those items helped made the technique popular. I did create sub-diving material poses though. hehe. A few years ago I was trying to find a way to add morphs with a pose. That was pre INJ/REM. MerrilynEllison (SilverleifStudios/D'Mentia) kept asking me to find a way to assign new materials with a pose file. While experimenting Subdividing material poses were born, though it wasn't what I was originally trying to do. That led to the first bodygloves. It was so exiting. By the end of the first week, there were hoisery packs for free everywhere. That then led to Vicki's leg material zone. SOrry for the tangent but I love old Poser Trivia as my friends can tell you. lol. I recently discovered something new which I will make public shortly.
