The original Amityville movie was a pretty big hit in its day. It spawned I don't know how many sequels -- 7? 8? It did? I was just a youngin then. I barely remember going to the movie and after I saw it said I would never see it again, yeah, it was supposed to be a true story. But, sometimes I wondered about that. Omen, the orginal was awesome. The ones after that sucked. Hollywood needs to stay away from sequels because they can never get it right. and I cant believe this thread isn't locked yet LOL
