Aye, my thing is that he's misrepresenting the Bryce program itself, and basically making a mockery of it. It's happened many times before, and in all different forms of CGI, not just Bryce. It's why, in the Rhino forums, it's required to post some WIP threads if you want to enter their contests. That way nobody can cheat by using other people's models. In this particular image, it's just a deer, untextured, and a tree? I think this artist can do a much better job than that.
