Got the EOS 350D today 2 megapixels more than my EOS 300D. Black & white setting with 4 different colour settings (like if you put colour filters in front of the lens). Mirror lock-up (no more hacked firmware). And now it has started to rain :o( Here is a quick test photo (I think I'm going to like this camera)

Eggiwegs! I would like... to smash them!

Gorgeous! I think you are going to like it as well. It was on my recent short list, but I had to conserve funds a little. Fab detail in the test shot. I wish you many happy photo sessions with your new Rebel XT.

Congrats - fabulous camera reports say - must admit I would love to own one :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Great capture love the cobwebs on the rusty key. Looks like you will have a whole lot of fun, if it ever stops raining!

Nice camera. Felt a little small in my hands, but can't argue with picture quality. I know you will really love this camera .

Oooh oooh I want one of those!!!!!!!! SIGH, just ordered myself a Coolpix 8800....out of stock...ordered another one...no battery....ordered a third....raised the price 3 times before the order had gone through. So if you dont mind me asking: Where did you get that one, and how much did you have to pay for it? Hi-jacking this thread with my own personal intentions it seems...shame on me...sigh...

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

That's funny Randy, that is the main complaint that I've read. They say they made it a bit too small for many people to handle. Though if you have small hands, that shouldn't be an issue. That and the menu system is not as quickly accessible as on the 20D. Otherwise, I've heard no complaints. Certainly worth the $$$.
