Hey Garowen, nice to see Sam has been guiding you well........though Sam..the zip file aint set up incorrectly!! Its set-up how i set it up ;) I just dont set them up to unzip directly to the runtime....:) as for Tutorials, Garowen, you will find alot of helpful tutorials on my very own website: http://www.forgefires.co.uk in the tutes section....if i was you i would check out the ~Firelight~ and ~Book 5~, both of which have setting up a scene from start to finish and may help you out alot. Seing as your using Poser 5 there are a couple of things that Sam hasnt hit upon yet that might well help you out... MAT files are an easy way of adding textures sure....but it wont help you out if you want to change them slightly...get to know how to change textures in the MATERIAL ROOM as well... choose from the top menu: RENDER>MATERIALS this will open up the material room....by selecting your figure or parts of it you can start to change how textures are loaded onto your figure....For instance...load V3 then open the material room....now click on her head.... the material room will display all the texture/material settings for her head.....the MAIN setting your going to be looking for is DIFFUSE COLOUR...if there is a texture loaded then "plugged" into this option will be window displaying the properties of that texture!IMAGE SOURCE etc will give you details of where this texture is loaded from. Using a MAT file will of course set all this up for you...however to my mind its best to know what them MAT files are actually doing! ;) A quick run through the settings displayed will sort you out im sure! Certainly MAT files created for Poser 4 (like the Amazons one) might not set up the texture correctly in Poser 5...so it is always worth knowing where and how the textures can be checked and loaded! on a slightly different note...always recall you can use the TEXTURE SHADED option in the preview window to show you a texture on your figure without rendering it! if you need help and you wish to contact me then please feel free to do so....or if you run MESSENGER feel free to add me and track me down online...ill help you in any way i can kirisute@hotmail.co.uk
