You need more than UVMapper, as you've probably noticed from those tutorials. Unless you're planning to paint skin-tight clothing directly onto your figures, you'll need a modeller of some sort. You can use a free one to start off with, but there are some tricks. First question: conforming or dynamic? If you have Poser 5 or 6, dynamic clothing is easier to make, because you don't need to mess around with CR2s, bones, and joint parameters. It looks more realistic too. Second, what sort of clothing, for what figure? You could try my QuickDress for V3, which has a tutorial, and there are others on my site which you may not have seen. It's simple, but it will get you started.
