Some of the New Pro-Pack Features, as they apply currently to Lightwave and 3DMAX... The Pro Pack plug-ins allow you to host Poser files directly within Discreets 3D Studio Max and Newteks LightWave. Unlike importing or exporting functions that translate data from one format to another, the Pro Pack plug-ins serve as a liaison between the host application and the Poser files, actually opening your Poser files and accessing their contents directly in the host application. This allows you to take advantage of Posers speed, ease of use and ready to go content and combine your Poser files with the host applications powerful modeling, rendering, and animation capabilities. Poser files hosted within 3D Studio Max or LightWave retain all of their data including materials, articulation, textures, keyframes, etc. Poser scene files are treated as primitives and can be manipulated within the host application as you would any other primitive. You may, however, need to open the Poser file within Poser itself depending on the actions you wish to perform. For example, if you want to articulate the figure directly or change any keyframe values, you will need to do this in Poser. ******************************************************* Whether it is called VUE 4, or a special VUE 3.5 Release, E-On Software is not a stranger to plug-ins- they already make a very popular Plug-In for Lightwave and MOVER is itself a VUE Plug-In. It is a matter of either making Pro-Pack fit the Mover plug-In format or creating a new plug-in format where VUE can support Pro-Pack...
