Subject: Quick ??? about pz3 files? Is the obj file included in a pz3??

Maybe...maybenot. Most of the time, the prop's wavefront obj data is stored in the PZ3, but I think it may be dependent upon whether it was that way in the Prop file (PP2) from which it came. You can simply open a PZ3 in a text editor and check for yourself - something other than NotePad is a good idea since it doesn't handle multi-megabyte files so well.

A P6 PZ3 without PMD file should load up in P4. Just don't expect dynamic hair/cloth, shader nodes, new lights, and new settings to be read in. - Oh, and the references (geometry, textures) must be within the P4 Runtime!

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
