whoooo boy.......another one. You know something, stonemason? If you keep practicing real hard like this, then some day you too will be one of the top 3D model makers around. ;-) Of course, how anyone could top this already.........I wouldn't venture to guess.

Excellent work Stef! It looks like you've captured every detail! I love the train tracks and power lines.

Someone's been playing Half Life 2... Looks awesome...

Eugenius ( ) posted Thu, 28 April 2005 at 2:57 PM

There's a lot more angles and images here at see.Very very nice! Just one thing if I may point out: I think the weeds on the railroad tracks are a bit too tall: they look like small trees. Was this done on purpose to show that trains are no longer running on the industrial line?

Andi3d ( ) posted Thu, 28 April 2005 at 2:58 PM

good work Stef, and a nice attention to detail. :-)

That's awesome, Stef. I love all the junk and weeds.

Excellent! I agree about the weeds :) Smaller....clumpier

Eugenius ...yeah..could be smaller I guess, but I like them as they are..also the grass is in their own body groups so you can scale them down to suit. onimusha ...cool game..with the best game textures I've seen :) polycount btw is about 40k with everything in scene, though I'll be presenting it as seperate figures for quicker loading

onimusha ( ) posted Fri, 29 April 2005 at 4:47 AM

Yeah... the textures were what sold me on putting up with steam. I was blown away when I played it the first time...

Philywebrider ( ) posted Fri, 29 April 2005 at 5:02 AM

Amazing!

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Fri, 29 April 2005 at 6:40 AM

Great stuff, Stoney! For those who use Vue (as well as other apps), how hard will it be to "remove" the plants? And count me in as a sale (of course, you weren't surprised, I'm guessing).

stonemason ( ) posted Fri, 29 April 2005 at 7:19 AM

hey Chuck..all the plant's are in their own body group..so just exclude the plants on export

Hehe, I thought it was a photo. I was thinking, "What's this got to do with Urban Sprawl?" Then I read. Nice!

ElorOnceDark ( ) posted Wed, 04 May 2005 at 6:42 PM

That very cool Stef! Great textures on those boxes! I love the "Morrell Packaging" logo. Nice touch!
