I don't know what your level of experience with Bryce is, but here's one way for water. This is a plane, with the preset for "nice water" with a bump map from a cloud texture substituted for the original bump (inset). Cloud bumps add a nice non-repeating wave effect, I think. Also shown here in a red bracket at the top is the icon for making random skies. Some will be very weird, but you might find something close to what you might like, and then tweak it until it pleases you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
