Price? That's easy. Bryce is much cheaper.

You've heard the old adage: you get what you pay for. Not that I have anything against Bryce. It's a decent app. It's just that Vue meets my needs far better.

I gave up on Bryce after B4. I am now a confirmed Vue Infinite user.

I don't know what Bryce 5.5 is going to have to offer, though. It'll be mildly interesting to see what the Brycers will be able to do with it.

Not that I have any intentions of changing. Vue simply has too much compatibility with Poser for me to consider Bryce as an alternative.

Ease of Poser compatibility was what sold me on Vue to begin with. However, I have come to look at Vue as the powerful application that it is in it's own right. Although easy .pz3 import remains a critcally important feature to me.

The new Bryce looks like it's going to be mated to D|S -- an app which I haven't used. Perhaps I will, once they get it past the lenghty beta process.

But I am now Poser/Vue. I'm hooked.

In addition to which -- P6 does great things on its own, render wise. It's a drastic improvement over P4/P5.

So, in a brief nutshell: I recommend Vue highly.

To me, Bryce is an also-ran.

shrug Others won't agree. And that's fine.

Vue Infinite does the job for me. Far better than Bryce ever did.

Keep in mind that Vue Infinite is a truly professional application. Therefore: comparing V5I to Bryce probably isn't entirely fair to Bryce.

Bryce should be compared with Vue 5 Espirit.

And even there, I think that you'll find Vue to be the clear winner.
