I can understand the price point, but to say that Vue's interface is slow and clunky and has a steeper learning curve, is just plain false. I was a Bryce user first back in 1998, then bought Vue 3 and it was like I always used it - no problem at all, in less than one day I was already doing everthing that I was doing in Bryce. Vue's got one of the easiest user interfaces I ever tried - and I more or less tried them all. As for the slow and clunky... I can just LOL. :-)
