I've got 384 kbps down/ 64 kbps up, with 10 GB monthly limit. Something like US $55. I think you will spend the 1GB limit, if you browse a lot. That BT info Richard posted says 10MB/hour for browsing. You'd need to limit yourself to 3 hours per day to get something like 900 MB. And that doesn't take into account the amount your computer sends out, as it's also calculated into the 1 GB. Do not wait, cause monopols have a way of evading limitations. A year and a half ago my telecom was in the same position like yours and it took about eight months for them to start offering ADSL at half-decent prices. PS. Speed is seductive. :-)
