I also have been contemplating upgrading from my dial up to a higher speed connection. Either DSL or Cable. What else is there? I don't know, but do know that I already have a DSL modem that doubles as a dial-up...so I may just have to investigate this high speed scam. They will suck as much as they can out of you...but high speed is a nice luxery...esp. when dealing with graphics all the time....whatever works. I get buy...but it would be cool to free up the one phone line here... Good luck. -Peace :-)
