I've worked in I.T. / I.S. for over 10 years and I've always run into trouble makers like you!!! ;) Just kidding!!! I'm not familiar with iInventory, but most auditing software will use the Registry data to extract the info. So even if you have Bryce installed on a USB Flash Drive there is some Registry data that will show that Bryce is installed. Now depending on your I.T. Staff and Company if your Copy of Bryce is Legit it shouldnt be a problem. These types of auditing software is usualy installed so companys dont by mistake install 2 copys of the same Autocad 2006 license. Talk to your I.T. Staff. I used to allow my users to install their own software as long as it was Legit copy and they werent going to pass it around to other co-workers.
