LOL, my first tries texturing and leave it to me to pick something that's complicated, LOL I assumed by manually you meant in the material room. I muddled my way through there (first time in there) and got my texture on! Only problem is that the spokes and the dot didn't change colour/texture, despite them being different in the texture I made. Here is what I got, but only the paper part of it is showing:
