MorriganShadow , the more I think of it the more it seems to me this is a matter for linking from outside Rosity. I think the fundemental issue here is that some of us want help seeing the good stuff and find that this good stuff is more often discovered by sensible individuals with individual taste then by mob rule ;) I'm joking about mob rule, I just me collective vote. I would rather a piece had the endorsement of one articulate person then a quarter million votes. I have never liked the work identified by votes, scores, or commitees, yet quite often images will be pointed out by individuals here in the forum and inevitably they are terrific. It seems the kristta is polling for what kind of support there might be for such an effort as organizing this informal situation and this forum seems utterly appropriate place for her to do that... I totasly support here intentions though I believe it could be disruptive to do it on Renderosity. I hope something comes together. As I said, a "guestbook" that could handle the bandwidth would do the job. As for people complaining, I would envision a colective of individual contributers, if someone didn't like how things developed autonomously they could just not visit the site! Or set up there own site, right? Finaly, voting for your friends rather than on merit? I just can't imagine doing that, some of my friends are realy sucky artists!
