There is nothing wrong with your Hyperthreading, and you do not need to disable it to fully use the cpu. Hyper-Threading Technology enables multi-threaded software applications to execute threads in parallel. Kinda taking what would otherwise be wasted cycles, and turning them into a virtual cpu. HT and dual cpus are only of maximum benefit to renderers that can run two render processes simultaneously. Such as Cinema, Lightwave, Carrara, which break a single frame into multiple sections, and send each section to a seperate cpu to be rendered concurrently.
