Mallenlane - Yeah, in some recent searching I've just been doing, I came across a bulletin board thread that talks about rendering in maya and hyperthreaded CPUs, and they said exactly that same thing.
Heheh, luckily I can run two bryce's with the same scene in each at the same time. Select and render the top half of an image in one, and select and render the bottom half in the other and merge them post render if I want to use every bit of the CPU for rendering (and get the advantage of 100% of cpu rather than just 50%). It should work ok doing that.
