"I believe we should note the fact that the "ignore" feature on certain other (nameless) websites does nothing to stop truly vicious flame wars from occuring." 1 - Nothing will stop a flame war. Renderostiy has them as well. Just as mean and hurtful. THe difference is that renderosity doesn't have a place for them -- certain other nameless sites do. 2 - The purpose of an ignore button is to remove posts by someone one personally deems annoying to one's self. And they do go a Long way towards reducing the sort of idiocy fights that do occur here at Renderosity. Stuff of the nature where someone assumes something said by someone who tends to annoy them is specifically meant about them in particular, when, to most folks, it doesn't appear like anything of the sort....
