And, the sphere will have no more polys than what it originally did, so you can use images as displacemnts on VERY low poly objects, and have a scene with tons of detail and hardly any polygons. Here's Studio rendering brick on a SIX poly cube. While you could do the same cube in Bryce with Terrains, the resulting mesh would weigh in at over 12.5 million polygons. (6 sides, of a 1024x1024 image) 6 polys vs. 12.5 Million polys... Bryce 6 NEEDS displacements. AS
