I freelance. I will pimp out my art to anyone and everyone. I am a Systems Engineer and have been with the same company for almost 16 years now. I would also love to split the 9-5 gig. Its driving me nuts. I do art at night and on the weekends. Im always looking for projects to do. I've done about 4 paying art jobs in the last year. Kinda slow but I dont advertise. I hope one day to land the art gig that will pay my bills but havent found it yet. I would suggest part time..build up a good collection of your art and start looking for a company to hire you on. They all seem to be out west in California. Im in Georgia. Looks like a game company might be good to work for but the salaries seem to be pretty low.
