Let me try to anticipate some of the questions and explain a little bit more what I have in mind :

I am looking more for an hommage to your favorite movie, or a scene that could be in that movie - I am NOT looking for an exact copy of a picture from that movie. The shot has to be yours - not that of the movie director.

Other than that, you are free to use whatever prop or character you need. There is no limitation on the type of movie either.

You may NOT :

• recreate an exact copy of the movie poster
• recreate an exact copy of a well known shot from the movie

You may however :

• use another point of view of a well known scene
• make a scene based on sets or props from the movie
• recreate a shot or a scene with similar characters

(follow the link for an example of this last suggestion).
