And we have the advantage of perspective since we know how much work is involved behind the scenes. It isn't totally thankless, though... there were times when people were glad that I stepped in, and knowing that I'd helped made it worthwhile. I will say that separating pit-bulls would be easier than disfusing some of the arguments here. You can shoot pit-bulls. Artists need to have things explained to them, and finding the right words to cut through the fog of emotion is tricky. Enforcing a rule while being courteous is a balancing act... and some of the staffers here are very good at it.
