ahhaah the Yupie looks like from suger! sweet! you can add point light it will not really ruin the light effect at all it will give little more contrast that is ok but take care about the shadows because point light use Raytrace shadows only.. try also with spot light and set it to grey color, this way it will not change the mood color.
