I agree with Ang about the "holes" in the snow that the trees are sitting in, they look far too regular. How about trying a negative boolean stone? Um... that's if you CAN make a stone into a negative... (suddenly unsure) can't remember if I've done that or not. Also there's something about the actual texture of the snow that bothered me... I THINK it was the bumpiness that was too regular, or else just not smooth enough in the areas where it's untouched. (can't recall where image was, so this is from memory) I did like the fir trees, they looked pretty good to me. Hope that helps.
