Can't put my finger on it after 4 years, however a safe bet would probably be a combination of affordability and ease of use in the beginning. Over the long haul is when it gets more complex, trying to squeek every inch out of it. There surely is some phenominal talent here. From the looks of your gallery, you have real knack for it too.
