Pam-again. (Sounds Irish, doesn't it? How appropriate) I've addressed several of the posts on this thread in this BIG LOOOONG one. Ready?StevenT!!!
How astute you are to have noticed. We STILL LOVE your Hells Kitchen render.... Arent you chomping at the bit to do some more renders for us? ; ) And just where have you been, Mister?! Youre in No CA now huh? I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering if we'd EVER hear from you again. Tom just moved... guess where? Downstairs into my duplex in Hermosa Beach! It's very convenient to get to work now! LOL!
Casette,
Michael is floating in space with no spacesuit! You wanted him dead, or what?
Nalif,
"The Phaeton personal starship just put into the marketplace fits the bay section of the Magellan without scaling..."
How cool is that... at only $1.99 for the price of admission. (Nyuk Nyuk) That works out well, and when we weren't even trying! LOL!
Antonia Tiger,
"And it looks more like a housing project than a spaceship from that angle."
LOL! IT IS a Housing Project... it's the habitat for the Crew, (Remember, it's a cargo ship! ;)
"The only payment option appears to be credit card. The Wishlist is useless. Don't bother trying to use it, there seems to be no way of getting to it other than by adding an item."
They're working out all of the kinks at CP right now. The reason we only have one product up now is because they have an enormous amount of data to publish and a lot of other things on their plate at the moment. In due time, all will be ironed out and I'm sure you will find this to be a stellar venue for Poser related content and complimentary software products and tutorials. They can probably better serve us if we all just exercise a little patience with this endeavor... since it's a biggy. Personally, I'm just glad to see they have gotten back up in the saddle and are doing WELL! They worked awfully hard for years to bring us this great program called Poser, (let us not forget who invented and wrote this program we've all grown so fond of) and many wonderful 3d products at more than reasonable prices. I'm sure your input is of value to them, as is everyone who takes the time to suggest improvements. If enough people have the same complaints... suggestion (?), they will probably take heed.
Pam, that first paragraph in the description appeared in purple, against a black background, when I tried to read it on the CP site. This is not a very readable combination.
Its fuchsia but on that dark brown background probably looks purple. I thought it stood out nicely compared to other colors I tried, but I did bold the text and makeit one size larger. Please check it out and let me know if you can see it better now. Tx! (See, we listen... so before you aim, know that we all aim to please. After all, Were all just Bozos on this bus! ;)
RHaseltine,
Thank you so much for giving all who use Daz Studio a heads up on this. Im at a loss when it comes to how our models work with/in Daz Studio since we have never used it. We build all of our models for Poser, so we know they work there just fine. ; )
Stallion,
Shame I already own the SS3
Bless your heart. Weve got other things on the agenda for the not so distant future, so just stay tuned. CP sends newsletters out frequently, so you will know about them as they arise.
Thanks one and all for your kind words and suggestions for CP.
Should this thread have been posed on the PSF? Are we in trouble? Guess we'd know by now, or will soon enough, huh?
XO!
Pam
