Yes, this was a hard afternoon.
We tried 3 hours and didn't get one render finished in Poser6. Dumps, overflows and more prevent us in joining one render.

Our PC-equipmment:

• P4, 3.0Ghz, SCSI-UW160, 1,5Gb RAM
• Windows XP, SP2

• Poser document with 13 items, Judie, M3 and clothings

First we transfered the poser5-document into Poser6. Then we inboxed an Diffuse IBL-light into our poser-lamp.
First try rendering:

• Firefly draft -> ok
• Firefly prodution (automatically mode)
• loading textures and loading textures. After 15 minutes
  we canceled this render. Cancelling render....Cancelling
  render. After another 20 minutes we finished poser by
  windows task manager
• Reboot and another try
• this time render is coming up, but nearly in solid black.
• again we closed Poser and get into Poser6 again
• next render. This time a message was coming up:
  ...out of memory (????). We are surprised! 1,5Gb not
  enough? And Poser as standalone software? No other
  software installed or running, exept Poser 5.
• We reduced firefly production settings.
• Now render starts but stoped in the middle of the picture
  No error messages.
• Last try, we deleted items in document. After we had
  deleted several items, render was coming to nearly end,
  but failed in the last row.

Summary: We are going to try 6spot method in Poser5. In the future we are checking Poser6 render agian, perhaps we made mistakes in using this new program. Perhaps a SP for Poser6 is available soon.
