Don't forget that there is a low tech solution :-

Use a primitive Prop like the (low res) Ball or Box.
Position it where you want the figure to end up.
Edit | Copy (or Ctrl-C).
Load the figure, select the Body, and then Edit | Paste (or Ctrl-V).
