OK, now I'm addicted. This is my first attempt and it was so much fun. I finally understand what HDRI is, IBL is, know more about lighting in general and am so grateful. I even understand the concept of specular lighting to get highlights in eyes, etc. Thanks face_off for the tip. Going to try the node trick for highlights next.

I wanted to try something with weird colors to see what the effect of the light would be on her skin. And the shadows were a real surprise.
