the 'shovel' is simply an optional attached bulldozer blade. It's really not going to change the shape of the hull, or position of the main gun now, is it?

Incidentally, I did a google image search of a demolisher and it came up with exactly what I knew it would: an Imperial Guard tank with the main gun in a turret. Completely different to the space marine vindicator tank.

Additonally, if you go the attached link you will see images of marine tanks at epic scale, one of which is the same as the 3d model at VP and is labelled as...a vindicator
