It's dark outside so it would be an almost black pic :(

Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to

Damia, your place is beautiful!!!!! you don't have to mow THAT desperately! i LOVE to mow...but only if it's with a PUSH mower. I hate the riding lawn mowers yawn. I dunno, ever since i was kid i always loved to mow grass. i was a tomboy. still am! LOL! anyway, you could almost pay ME to mow the grass! when we had our house i always mowed because kemal has severe allergies. i just like the physical activity i guess. anyway, your place is quite charming! Carlos, your place has its own charm! i dig urban art, and i enjoy your pictures!
Oh my Damia!! This is so beautiful!!! And what about mowing?? What for?? We very rarely mow over here! We like our garden "wild"! ;) And I guess that's why I like urs so much!! Carlos, ur rear view is quite incredible! Where about do u live? And yes, to drive around here is quite a challenge I guess! But I don't drive so better ask Laurent! ;) All I know is that we have to stop very often to let other people go and vice versa! It forces u to be very "social" and it teaches patience too! I don't even notice it anymore to be honest! ;)

Pascale...I love your shot! How on earth do people drive there? No wonder you guys have invented the mini-cooper and the MG.There's no room for anything else! Sheila, your image touches me.Reminds me of my mom and her aide. Can't say more... Damia.garden work is always overwhelming. But natural is lovely in it's own way. Carlos, that graffiti is beautiful. So expressive.Would be an interesting crop I think...I also like the left side of that building.Great color and texture. Me-nothing to say!LOL! just wanted to participate!

Pascale...even a basic shot out your window is artistic. Drivers here would sideswipe every car on that road.
Sheila....is that kentucky bluegrass. No windows...sigh.
Damia....you have a nice view....now go cut your grass.
carlos...the planter is way nicer view.
Have to love that little 100 yr old house Margana.I see you are ready for all seasons.

Marlene!!!! i would LOVE to look around in your carriage house!!! I love the windows!!!! i understand...maybe one day you'll tell me the story. doug...thanks for the reminder!!! it's a gorgeous view! not sure if that's Ky. bluegrass or not. there are many varieties, and oftentimes it's seeded mixed with another kind. i'm not very good at recognizing the types of grasses. Carlos, that garden shot is gorgeous!!!!
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Wow! This is your view? All I see is cars and ridiculous faux japanese landscapes.Houses everywhere, one more excessive than the other.I love my house. It preceeds my neighborhood. It would have been destroyed long ago by developers if we had not rescued it.I am amazed by the scenery that comes so natural to you!In another era my house might have had such views.Alas now it is a pearl in the heart of suburbia.

Oh my Andreas!!! U live in paradise too!!! This is gorgeous!! I'm green with envy now! :( And yea, at 5am, the sun is high here too at that time of the year! In the summer, it starts rising at 3.30am! It took us a few years to get use to it! Rich, what a cute garden u've got there!! And Joe, u're cheating! ;P
Oooh Pascale, sunrise is at 3:30am? Do you know if that's true in Scotland, too?I'm going there soon and was hoping to get some sunrises but wasn't planning to be going out that early!

Wow, Andreas, What a beautiful BIG back yard you have!!!! Richard, your place is GORGEOUS!!!! I see pictures of gardens like this in magazines!!!! You must do a lot of work on it!!! worth it though! Joe, nice pic...i see a gorgeous sun & hint of a building. Agree with Pascale...you're just teasin' us a bit here!!! :)
I love Onslow's(Richard?) garden. It looks beautiful...L8rdaze,didn't your mama tell ya it ain't nice to tease?LOL...Tom,I would have loved your deck as a child. It would have made the perfect stage for all the little 'shows' I put on and tortured my parents with!...Andreas,all I can say is wow.I bet that's your nearest neighbor, too! I'm curious. What is that little blue thing all the way far right?...And (OT) Carlos now I'm thoroughly confused.I must be going senile or something because you went wayyyy over my head! LOL!

I've been waiting to see yours, Kort! I was half-expectin' alligators though! LOL! Jeesh....Incredible captures and views!!!! kemal and i were seriously talking a few weeks ago about moving to Pensacola. We both LOVE Florida and Alabama...it didn't work out though. sigh. Your images just show exactly WHY we wanna move down that way...and well, we both miss the sea terribly!!!! Thanks for showing!
Sigh...I do love our house. And now with housing prices skyrocketing, we could sell for quite a profit, but would have to move out of the area to buy something as good or better and that isn't an option. I do love to go on my patio at night and watch the moon rise over the lake and listen to the frogs, or get up early and sometimes be greeted by a spectacular sunrise. Believe me, I know how lucky I am. But when I spend almost 10 hrs a day in a dark, windowless office, I feel I deserve it just a little. Yes Pascale, it is like holiday year 'round, except when I'm at work, which is most of the time. :[ Sheila, I hope you get to move down this way sometime. Honestly though, I don't get to the ocean much, but it is nice to know it is 20 minutes away. =]

Doug,(Dbgraffix) how did I skip you? I'm sorry! And I loved your pix.Like TwoPynts they were hardly every day shots! They were beautiful.I especially loved the top one.Such a soft quiet pic. Thanks for noticing that my 'carriage house' is ready for all seasons.Yes,it's just plain laziness! There's christmas lights on it year-round!LOL.But must admit I'm a sucker for those lights and think they look so beautiful, even in the summer.Ten fruit trees AND grapes?Where do you live(I'm too lazy to look it up,LOL)? California?Tuscany? You have me curious.

Life
----------------------------------
sigh oh Cindy....jeesh girl...i almost cry looking at your pictures! this is PARADISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sighs again. Your photos are all so incredible. deep sigh... Kort...as much as i love the sea, i would have a hard time choosing between living on the coast and that piece of heaven that Cindy's showing. 20 minutes isn't that far to the sea...i mean...from here it's 14 HOURS!!!! just all about perspective!!! sorry about your long hours! we can transfer with our jobs but the problem is down your way the cost of living is the same...actually a bit more...but the pay scale there...oh man...we wouldn't be able to transfer at the same pay rate...and it would be WAY too much money to lose. you wouldn't believe it. Alabama is even worse. Perhaps one day.... Ilona, your place is verrrry beautiful too!!!!! gorgeous courtyard! can i join you in Cindy's garden? :)
