That IBM cell thing sounds neat. Sounds like they took the Motorola PowerPC chip and modded it. Also the technology is licensed/shared with Toshiba & Sony. So instead of just one company supplying the CPU, there's the potential of four suppliers for this type of chip. This will probably make it affordable too. :) Also note that the next X-box and both the PS-3 will be using that type of processor. The difference in how those platforms perform will be in the board architecture and operating software.
