I think I know what's happening to you. Does the animation have only one key frame, the end frame? If that's the case here's what is going on. When you use the retime thing, especially on a nice even setting like 1/2 as fast it moves frame 1 to frame 1, 3 goes to 2, 5 goes to 3, 7 to 5, 9 to 6. See the pattern? It's working on the odd numbered frames. Guess where frame 30 goes. There are lots of way around this. Resample the key frames before you retime. Keep in mind the way the retime discards the imbetween frames. Better yet, just add keys to all the frames before you retime. Then resample after you have retimed to reduce the number of keys. Another way around this is to make the animation 31 frames and retime from 31 to 15. Finally. If you really only have an ending key, just move the key with the animation pallet. Easier and faster.
