Thanks so much for all your thoughtful comments this image. It really made all the work and frustration worth while. The original image posted above is one that I became totally obsessed by. I have never really experienced this before. It was like this picture was talking to me. There was a message just dieing to come out but, I couldn't convey it. I was so sure this car had an amazing story to tell and I just couldn't figure out what it was. My first thoughts were of the glory days when we had no idea of the impact the automobile would eventually have on our planet. Then it shifted to the conflict I personally have with the love of cars, romantic notions I have of the automobile history ; and how the need for oil has caused countless wars and needless deaths and the destruction of our environment. I think you all got it right on the nose with your interpretations. And yes Joe this was on a train trip across the country. I am so honored to be able to share my thoughts and images with such insightful, thoughtful friends:}
