It has been raining a lot here lately and I took this photo from my car on the way home from work. I like it a lot and am not sure why. I was hoping to get your feedback on it. Sure, the sky is dramatic, but I think there must be more to it. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend, wherever you may be! --Kort

Yea, I can see why u like this one!! It's a great shot indeed and I really like it too! What does it for me is definitely that dramatic mood! The sky is so heavy and the red lights in the dark are very appealing to me! And that empty road in front...open to go anywhere, everywhere...it's an invite to escape.....with the palm trees in the background..it has a very strong holiday-adventure feeling! I think that's why I love it so much! :)

I think the red stop lights adds alot to the picture. More than the sum of its parts :)

Thanks you two. Another thing I'm happy about is the clarity of the original. Tough to see here, but it came out nice and sharp.

Oh Kort! I think I got caught in that today as I was at the City Marina just a few hours ago and I swear that is what the sky looked like! Very dramatic shot I like it too! I think it will go along fine with the hurricane image you have. Thar be stormy seas ahead matey! But the weather is just fine... if your a duck! ;) Brenda :)

I like this a lot too. Now to explain why mmmm not my strong point :( It's full of atmosphere and it's not just that heavy looming dark cloud but something about the lights and the reflections on the wet road. Maybe its like Pascale said there's a sense of escaping that depressing weather ... Noeline

i like it because the white-grey cloud backdrop behind the lighted lined traffic red points are dramtic and stand out with lighted glow and is captivating...intriging stormy mood and atmosphere... yes!

My thoughts are these....LOOOOOVE IT!!! Its very dramatic as it has been said. And i just love how the lights look on that SUV! The only thing i would even consider changing would be to clone out those 2 small points in the asfalt. Probably the stoplights reflected or something. Other than that it is simply PERFECT!!!!

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?
