It is one of the best known elvish greetings: "A star shines on the hour of our meeting." There are a couple of decent books on Tolkien's languages, one is British and out-of-print, the other is new and quite good. THE LANGUAGES OF TOLKIEN'S MIDDLE EARTH. Ruth S. Noel. (about $20 in softcover, readily available) As to the Klingon, I gave donsimpson a copy of Hamlet in Klingon that I found up at the Shakespeare festival in Ashland last year.
