Quote - It doesn't look like it is even setting up the file in the first place to do an extraction, the file listed doesn't seem
to be decompressed.
In the list of files in WinZip I see Victoria 3 MM.crz
instead of Victoria 3 MM.cr2.
You lost me there.
I am trying to "decompress" a file. The compressed file I'm trying to decompress is in this example is .... Victoria 3 MM.crz
If it were already a .cr2 file I wouldn't have need to decompress it. I was told Winzip could decompress single .crz files, and it's obviously not working.
I did the exact same steps and used "Extract", when trying this with a compressed .pz3 file (.pzz). And it worked, but it won't work for the .crz file. Anyway, I'm not going to worry about trying to get Winzip to do this anymore. I didn't know that there is already a script available that can be run inside Poser to decompress single files, so I'll use that instead.
I don't really want to upgrade to a more current version of Winzip. I tend to stay with older versions of some programs due to space and memory issues with my computer, and I find that often a newer version tends to take up more space and memory. Winzip 8 zips and unzips .zip files, which is what I use it for. I would get rid of it entirely and go with Winrar, but so many people don't use Winrar, which is my preferred program.
