Heh. First computer was a VIC 20. After which varying Trash 80s, Commodore 64s, etc floated thru our household before my ex got the bright idea of getting a PC. It was a 286, had 2mb of RAM, 40 mb hard drive, and Goddess knows what the video display was. ;-)

I first had PP4 running on a 300 mhz AMD, 8mb Matrox video card, Windows 98 and it was fine, IIRC. After a house fire took away that computer I put it on my son's 533 mhz Celeron, 384 mb RAM (almost maxed out his motherboard), W2K.

Current:

Three-year-old Dell, extensively upgraded. :)
P4 2ghz Processor
712 MB RAM
2 80 gb internal HDs, 1 120 gb USB 2 external HD
128 mb NVidia 5200 video card
DVD drive and dual-layer DVD burner
No telling what we'll stick on it next. Probably more RAM, which will max out my motherboard. The floppy long got clogged up with dust and I'm looking to replace it with a memory card reader.
Been a darned good running little pc, too.

Currently running P6 with few problems, mostly figuring out how far to push the program and my pc's limits with it. ;-)
