The "basic" parameters I use on an average render are usually:

Min Shading Rate: 0.25
Pixel Samples: 4
Max Texture Size: this varies per render, but usually I set it to over 2500
Bucket Size: for large renders, I bring the value down between 22 and 32. For normal test renders or any size around 800x600, I'll keep it at default (64).
Post Filter Size: 2
Post Filter Type: Gaussian (sometimes sinc, but never box).

If I'm using a render with raytracing (reflect/refract), I'll set raytrace bounces to 3 as a minimum, and up to 6 for things like Chrome.
